We empower the Hispanic community at Harvard to realize their full potential.

About SHPE

The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers was originally founded in the 1970’s in Los Angeles to encourage and promote the work of Hispanic engineers across various fields. As an underrepresented group in the field of engineering, it is important that these individuals are recognized for their contribution to innovation and treated fairly. This became the main goal of the group that founded this initiative; it has now grown to have thousnds of members from hundreds of universities and institutions.
